A majority of Western Europe consists of Christian followers. The top three religions would be considered Christian, Other, and Muslim. Western Europe consists of many different religions which brings the different cultures into the countries.
Western Europe has had many conflicts in the past that lead to religion distribution. The Holocaust was a dangerous era for the Jewish people in Europe, mainly Western Europe. Thus lead to decrease of the amount of people who are Judaism followers. The Nazi killed around two - thirds of the Jewish people in Europe by torturous ways including concentration camps. This was a tough time for the Jewish families but till this day there are some survivors. The Holocaust created a huge decrease within the Judaism religion due to a massive decrease in population.
