Prostitution
There are at least 40 to 42 million prostitutes in the entire world. Prostitution is legal in 7 out of 9 countries in Western Europe, which are Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Swizterland. Prostitution is mainly cause by poverty and the need for money or the addiction of drugs. Prostitutes end up being unhappy women or girl with no self-respect for themselves and low self-esteem. It can also cause the person to have a criminal record since in some areas it's illegal to be a prostitution.
Discrimination
Even though Western Europe is freer than most regions around the world, there is a marked increase in racism and anti-immigrant policies, as well as a rise in poverty. Eastern parts of Europe have seen a marked increase in conflicts since the breakup of the former Soviet Union. Numerous conflicts have resulted in gross human rights violations and a lot of suffering and killings of civilians. In recent decades, social inequalities have increased significantly across Europe. In the past twenty-five years Swedish society has experienced a considerable growth in inequality, according to the OECD, between 1985 and 2008 the country recorded the highest growth of income poverty among industrialized countries. In Germany, one in six is now at risk of poverty.
Terrorism
Western Europe has many social issues including terrorism. Terrorism plays a huge negative impact on Western Europe including World War l and World War ll. Many of these terrorism acts start off with Europe debt crisis and doubts. Including a terroristic group named "ISIS" has attacked France, part of Western Europe, on November 13, 2015. ISIS chose to attack Paris, France because they are trying to send message to the world that they are real force to be wreck with and ultimately socially separating Muslims from other French citizens.
